JOB TITLE: Interior Design Intern (Temporary)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on all phases of design projects from conception through installment, including but not limited to mood boarding, space planning, CAD drawings, 3-D renderings, sourcing and budgeting, procurement, and installation scheduling & management.

• Resource updating and maintenance.

• Provide design support and administration during execution of design concepts.

• Source and work alongside outside vendors to procure, coordinate and produce all furniture, fixtures, & accessories.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or certificate (completed or in progress) in Interior Design or related field.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.

• Knowledge of design requirements, construction methods and materials for high end residential environments.

• Ambitious self-starter with a confident, figure-it-out mentality.

• Ability to manage up, multitask and work independently as well as on a team.

• Accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to help haul heavy samples and small furniture items during presentations or installations.
